 Adar Gandelsman was an Israeli model. She was the first runner-up at Miss Israel 2017, receiving the title of Miss Universe Israel, and was a contestant at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. Adar was a contestant at the Miss Universe 2017 pageant. However, she did not get a spot. Gandelsman, Miss Universe Iraq 2017 took a photo with Sarah Idan during the pageant. Idan and her family emigrated from Iraq in December 2017 after she took a photo with Miss Israel. Miss Israel was also a member of the Israel Defense Forces at that moment.
