 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub - American comedian, actress and activist She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents and started her career as an actor when she was a young girl, just after moving to the United States. From 2013 until 2016 she worked as the AT&T salesperson Lily Adams, and since 2020. She gained fame due to her appearances in TV commercials. She was also a frequent series regular on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She was also an actor on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016–2017). Vayntrub, who was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's unaired pilot for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also is a Jew. Her parents and her were exiled from antisemitism as young as two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. At five years of age she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was partly due to the economic hardships in her family. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She was kicked out of her sophomore year and obtained a GED. After that, she went on to receive an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade.
