Nathan John Feuerstein (born March 30 1991) and known by his initials NF (stylized as IF) is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. There are two EPs on his discography called I'm Free (2012)[3]and an EP self-titled with Capitol CMG in 2014. Mansion was his first album released by the major label. His second studio album, Therapy Session, was released on April 22, 2016, and peaked at number 12 on the US Billboard 200. The albums have garnered many distinctions, including the Gospel Music Association Dove Award Rap/Hip Hop album of the year (Therapy Session). NF reached mainstream popularity with Perception in 2017. The album charted in the United States at number one and was certified Platinum. "Let You Fall" hit number twelve on the. Billboard Hot 100 topped the charts across the globe as well as being a top ten hit. The follow-up album, The Search (2019) was a commercial hit. Feuerstein stated that rap was a method for him to escape during his early years. Feuerstein would record songs on a singing machine. He recorded instrumentals as well as sang on one microphone. Feuerstein released Moments his debut studio album, on his own on November 29, 2010. On August 2, 2011 Feuerstein released his first single "Alone". Brooke Griffith, songwriter and producer of the song was the featured artist. Xist Music was attracted to Feuerstein's work in 2012. Feuerstein debuted his expanded play I'm Free on May 2nd in 2012, with production by Profitt. The tracklist featured nine songs that included "Alone". The EP also featured an exclusive version of "Alone" featuring Sean Simmonds. Xist was teased about the self-titled, extended play, NF. However, Feuerstein ended his relationship with the label and the release of NF was delayed. NF featured a track, "Only One", featuring Shuree Williams on the compilation album of the label, Move Vol 1 The singer released a single, "Beautiful Addiction", on the 4th of November, 2013. Profitt was heard again on the track, along with singing by Brady Schmitz and Danielle Swift.
